Peppermint Puff. (C. japonica). Registered in 2019. ACS Registration #3159. This12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Brushfield's Yellow'first bloomed in 2015. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B.Johnson of Cairo, Georgia. Bloom:The medium sized 10.2 cm x 5.7 cm anemone form flower is white with pinkstripes. It has yellow anthers and cream filaments. This profuse bloomer islong lasting, has heavy petal texture, a consistent form and falls in onepiece. Plant: Theplant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is slow. The plant issuitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves have low serrationand average 7.6 cm x 3.8 cm. Bloomseason: Early to midseason.
