Collected Papers, 8-11th January 1994, International Symposium on C.chysantha, p.171: “Selecting and breeding new varieties of C.reticulata”: Rose form with 25-30 petals in 5-6 rows. Petal margins crimson and centre spinel pink. Diameter of flower 8-10 cm. Stamens few, single or severally from base of interior petals. Pistil degenerate and divided to base. Blooms mid-season to late. Leaves long, ovate, 8-9 cm long x 3.1-3.4 cm wide and keeled. Branched brittle. Originated in China.
