[Characteristics] Shrub type, mesophyll, open posture, mesophyll type, leaf blade length 8.6 cm, width 3.5 cm, leaf blade medium oval, leaf blade attachment status horizontal. In Guilin area spring tea bud one leaf period in the middle of March, the new buds and leaves light green, velvet medium, bud three leaves length 9.7 cm, hundred buds weight 42.7 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 16.0%, amino acids 5.9%, caffeine 3.8%, water leachate 41.5%. Suitable for green tea and black tea. The system of baking green tea, the appearance of tender green hair, tight fine, soup color tender green and bright, strong fragrance, long, floral flavor, taste fresh and mellow sweetness; the system of work black tea, the appearance of tight fine, brown, golden hair, floral aroma, taste mellow and fragrant. In Guilin, Guangxi, the first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 260 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' yield reduction of 10%; the second growth cycle mu yield of 345 kg, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' yield increase of 11%. 桂茶2号 (Camellia sinensis ‘Guicha 2’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第496-497页：【申请者】广西壮族自治区茶叶科学研究所。【育种者】王小云；谭少波；苏敏；韦静峰；杨春；庞月兰；刘诗诗；罗舒靖；吴雨婷。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2020)450022。【品种来源】广西壮族自治区茶叶科学研究所从‘南山白毛茶’中单株选育而成。【特征特性】灌木型，中生种，树姿开张，中叶类，叶片长度8.6厘米，宽度3.5厘米，叶片中等椭圆形，叶片着生状态水平。在桂林地区春茶一芽一叶期在3月上中旬，新梢芽叶浅绿色，茸毛中等，一芽三叶长9.7厘米、百芽重42.7克。春茶一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚16.0%，氨基酸5.9%，咖啡碱3.8%，水浸出物41.5%。适制绿茶和红茶。制烘青绿茶，外形嫩绿显毫、紧细，汤色嫩绿明亮，清香浓长、有花香，滋味鲜醇回甘；制工夫红茶，外形紧细、乌褐、有金毫，花香浓，滋味浓醇含香。在广西桂林，第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶260千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产10%；第二生长周期亩产345千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’增产11%。感茶小绿叶蝉，抗茶炭疽病，抗寒性强，抗旱性较强。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜广西茶区及生态条件相似茶区秋、冬季和春季种植。小绿叶蝉发生高峰期，适当采取防治措施。
