Hemu (C. amplexicaulis × C. japonica ' Margaaret Davis'). HB-26-3., a cross seedling (BKCD-No.12) of C. amplexicaulis × C. japonica ' Margaaret Davis'. Flowers light red, slightly with purple hue and with narrow and distinct white borders, rose- double to peony form, medium to large size, 9.0-11.5cm across and 6.5cm deep with 18-20 large petals arranged in 3-4 rows, petal edges rolled inward, central small petals more than 20, mixed with stamens. Leaves green, heavy leathery, long elliptic, midribs and lateral veins sunken, margins finely and densely serrate. Plant compact, upright, tall and growth vigorous. Blooms from early-winter to the spring of following year. The cultivar name means “Harmony”.
