Jat variety. Frutex type. Medium-leaf
size. Medium sprouting.
Originated in the region of Huangshan
(Xi county, Anhui province). It is mainly distributed in the southern part of
Anhui province.
Plant rather high, with medium density
of branching. Semi-opened type. Leaves horizontal. Length 10.6~11.8
cm, width 4.2~5.0
cm. Oblong in shape,with bluntly pointed tip. Surface of leaves slightly
protruding, glossy, green in color. Thick and soft Jn texture. Neat or slightly
waved margin. With potent sprouting ability. The sprouting period in the spring
season appears in the middle of March. The peak period of shoots with one bud
and three leaves stage appears in the third ten days of April. With rather
dense sprouting density. Shoots green in color and curled backwards, rather
stout, with profuse hairs. Potent tenderness-keeping ability. The weight of 100
one bud and three leaves shoots averaged 49.8 g. The peak period of flowering
stage appears in the middle of October. With average bearing percentage. High resistance
to cold-hardiness and wide adaptability.
High-yielding. The yield of made tea per
mu in an area of 95 mu tea garden in the Jiangcun (Huangshan, Xi county, Anhui
province) averaged 167.2 kg in 1972.
According to the analysis conducted by
the Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the
contents of caffeine in the one bud and two leaves shoots in the spring season
averaged 4.43%, amino acids 4.98多,tea polyphenols 27.37%,
total catechins 138.04 mg/g. Suitable to manufacture the green tea. The
Huangshan Maofong green tea prepared with GSCTZi variety as the raw material is
characterized by its tightly rolled leaf with tips and obvious white hairs,
dark green in color, glossy, fresh and lasting aroma, full taste and durable for
brewing,. Liquid clear with yellow green in color.
Suitable to popularize in the tea region m the south-of-Yan gzhe and north-of-Yangzte River for the manufacture of green tea. There are no special requirements cn the culfivation of GSCT21 variety

华茶21号(GSCT21) 黄山种 有性繁殖系品种。灌木型,中叶类,中芽种。 原产安徽省歙县黄山一带,主要分布在皖南茶区。
植株较大,分枝密度中等,树姿半开张,叶片呈水平状着生。叶片平均长 10.6~11.8cm,宽4.2~5.0cm,叶形椭圆,叶尖钝,叶面微隆起,有光泽,叶 色绿,叶片较厚,叶质柔软,叶缘平或微波,育芽力强,春芽萌发期在3月中 旬,一芽三叶盛期在4月下旬,发芽较密,芽叶色绿、背卷,尚肥壮,茸毛多, 持嫩性较好。一芽三叶百芽重平均49.Sg,盛花期在10月中旬,结实率一般。抗 寒力强,适应性广。
产量较高,安徽省黄山区杨树乡蒋村19S2年95亩平均亩产干茶167.2kg。
据安徽省农业科学院祁门茶叶研究所分析,春茶一芽二叶鲜叶含咖啡碱 4.43%,氨基酸4.98%,茶多酚27.37%,儿茶素总量138.04mg/g。适制绿茶, 制成“黄山毛峰”,条索紧结,有锋苗,白毫显露,色泽深绿,油润,香气清鲜 持久,滋味醇和耐泡,汤色黄绿清澈。
适宜在江南和江北(绿茶)茶区推广。
在栽培上无特殊要求。
