Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.27 with colour photo; English translation p.17. A white, medium size, trumpet shaped single with cylindrical stamens. Flowers mid-season. Leaves large, narrowly elliptic. A chance seedling of Chōchidori, named and released by Totsurō Nakamura in 1982. ‘Ikune’ is the name of the nursery where a series of these varieties have been originated. From Tokyo.
