Latest Illustrated Book of Japanese Camellias, (Camellias of Japan), 2010, p.73 with colour photo; Medium size red single. Rare stamen arrangement, with irregular clusters totalling over 1000 stamens. Flowers mid-season to late. Leaves ovate, medium size. Upright growth. Found in a wild camellia forest facing the Kashima Open Sea. Original tree re-discovered in 2005 by Ibaraki Camellia Group. From Ibaraki Pref., Japan. Released by Takeo Ogawa.
