Koihime

Koihime (C. japonica).  JCS Regn 2013-7 (ser. No.7)，Originated by Atsushi Itō. Japan Camellia #99, May 2013, p.3 with colour photo. International Camellia Journal 2014, colour photo p.158.  Japan Camellia Society, 2021. New Camellias and their Breeders，vol.1, p.44-46 as ‘Koihime'. A seedling of 'Owarifuji', pollen parent unknown. Leaf  oblong-elliptic, oval or unequal deformation, outer curve, fine serrate,  around 9 cm long and 3.5-4.0 cm wide.  Flower single, very pale pink, trumpet shape. Stamens columnar, filaments white, anthers gold. Medium to large size. Mid-season to late blooming, Mar-Apr. 

恋姫, 日本ツバキ協会，2021. 《椿の新花と達人たち---登録新花写真集》第1巻44-46页. 新花7号. 伊藤篤登録。尾張富士'Owarifuji'の自然実生。初花1999年。【樹】普通，枝の毛ない, 高2m, 【葉】長楕円形、卵形、不等変形，葉縁の外曲，鋭い細鋸歯，長さ9cm前後、幅3.5-4.0cm. 【花】一重，ラッパ咲き，中～大輪，丸弁、外曲，蕾球形，筒蕊，雌しべは雄しべより短い。【開花期】３－４月。
