ACS., 1988, The Camellia Journal, vol.43, No.1, p.6, Reg. No.2075: Large, blush pink with deeper pink markings, formal double. A chance japonica seedling. Blooms mid-season to late. Originated in USA by Johnny Aldrich, Brooklet, Georgia. American Camellia Yearbook, 1988, pp.188, 189, colour photo between pp.186-187: The 15 year old seedling first bloomed 1978. Average flower size, 11 cm across x 2.5 cm deep with 55 petals. Plant growth is upright and medium with light green leaves, 8 cm long x 3.2 cm wide.
