New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, 2019, vol.XXX1, No.3, p.29. NZ Register # 527. A Jim Finlay seedling of unknown parentage registered by Whangarei
Quarry Gardens. Given to the Whangarei Quarry Gardens in 2000 and first
flowered in 1998. The flower is pale pink with darker shading and veins, RHS
55D, semi-double to anemone form , 11cm with a depth of 4cm. It has up to 12
petals and a strong fragrance. The leaves are 8 x 4cm and its growth is weeping
with open growth. It flowers mid to late season.
