[Variety Source] Selected by Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, etc. from ‘Lushanzhong’ through single plant selection, cuttings propagation and trait identification and other breeding procedures. [Characteristics] Shrub type, mid-growth early species, half-open posture, medium leaf type, leaf length 9 cm, width 3 cm, narrow oval. In the Jiujiang area, the climatic period is 4-7 days later than the control ‘Longjing Longleaf’, the second leaf of the new shoots is light green, the germination density is dense, and the velvet hairs are dense. The biochemical sample of spring bud and two leaves contains 16.8% tea polyphenols, 5.0% amino acids, 3.4% caffeine, 47.3% water leachate. Suitable for green tea. System ‘Mount Lu Yunwu Tea’, the appearance of orchid shape, showing hair, tender yellow moist, soup colour light tender yellow, brighter, the aroma is still high and fresh, tender fragrance; taste mellow, more sweet and smooth, the bottom of the leaf is delicate, show buds, uniform, tender yellow. The first growth cycle of spring mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 174 kg of fresh leaves, than the control ‘Longjing Changye’ 130% increase in yield; the second growth cycle of spring mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 197 kg of fresh leaves, than the control ‘Longjing Changye’ 37% increase in yield.
