Manazuru

Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.248: White, sometimes with red lines and small variegation, single, tubular to bowl shaped flowers with large, cylindrical stamen cluster. Size medium large. Early flowering. Leaves medium sized, wide-ovate, dark green; petioles hirsute. Plant habit tall, upright growing, vig­orous. Originated in the Chūbu District, Japan. Sport of Kamo-honnami except for the red markings. It also resembles Hakutsuru.
