International Camellia Journal, 1986, No.18, pp.141, 142, Reg. No.10: Originated by Mr Charles Williams M.P., Caerhays Castle, St Austell, Cornwall, England. The flower is a small, campanulate single, 3 cm across x 2.5 cm deep with 6 petals; colour rose-pink (Red Group 55B) stamens yellow, filaments white. Mid-season flowering. Leaves, dark green. matt, oval, 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm, finely, sharply serrate, sharply acute on a vigorous, upright, bushy plant of medium growth rate.
