Tuyama, 1968, Camellias of Japan, pl.37, p.19, description, p.96: A bush Camellia, white, many petalled, tube-shaped flowers. Leaves broadly-elliptic, 7.6-8.6 cm long x 3.6-4.4 cm wide, green to dark green, dull, slightly recurved. Petals 13-18 with a few fan shaped petaloids, pure white to palest blush. Stamens in 4 or more fascicles, filaments, deep, creamy yellow. Late flowering. Resembles Zansetsu. Originated by Mr Nagara, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. 講談社　1975年　《現代椿集》 P.327　石川産、　「花」白、八重、半開性、小輪、前回せず落花する。　4～5月　「葉」長楕円形、葉先がやや外曲する。　「樹」立性、強健　「履歴」石川県河北郡高松町の長柄家に相当古くから植栽されていた。　文/仲村良
