New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, March 2002, Issue No.141, vol.XXII, No.5, p.9, Reg. No.425. Registered by S. & J. Levy, Auckland, New Zealand. A chance seedling which first flowered in 1990. Flower is a medium size formal double, 8 cm diameter x 4 cm deep, having about 40 petals that are incurved and almost circular in shape. Colour is an interesting, polychrome, dusty pink (RHS.CC.70C) with lavender shading at the outside edges (RHS.CC.75A) and marked venation (RHS.CC.67C). The flower lasts well, becoming mauve-blue with age. The bush is upright and dense, and of medium growth rate, with dark green leaves 9 cm long x 4 cm wide. Flowers mid-season to late
