The exterior petals, a single row, are of average size, deeply scal­loped, regularly cup-shaped, a little twisted; those of the centre are innumerable, uniformly ovoid, small, erect, forming an hemisphere and separate from the outer petals. Originated by Mr. Harrison, New York, USA, about 1837. Chinese synonym ‘Lubina’.

高继银、苏玉华、胡羡聪，2007. 《国内外茶花名种识别与欣赏》，第196页。美国纽约Harrison先生培育。花红色，带水红色调，托桂型至牡丹型，中型花,外轮花瓣宽圆，平铺，边缘略外翻，花心有无数的小花瓣，扭曲，偶见粉红色小斑块，金黄色雄蕊与之混生，簇拥呈团状，花朵稠密。叶片浓绿色,椭圆形，植株开张，生长旺盛。花期中至晚。
