Gao, Jiyin, 2007, The Identification....Outstanding Camellias, p.217 with colour photo; Originated around Nanjing City, Jiangsu, China. Flowers white, tending to milk yellow in the centre. Anemone to peony, large to very large, outer petals broad, waved at edges, petaloids sometimes mixed with the inner petals. Leaves dark green, elliptic. Compact, vigorous plant. Flowers mid-season to late.
