Uekiya Seigorō, 1874, Tsubaki Hyakuro no Zu, vol.1, No.2: Single of 5 round petals, white with red veins and markings. Anthers in a short, wide cluster with yellow anthers. Synonym: ‘Shirokikō’. Originated in Japan. See: Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1975, Kyōto Engei, No.73, p.21. (Believed extinct)
