Published firstly in magazine of Sociedad Española de la Camelia 2020, Camelia 37:46, with colour photos. Originated in Estación Fitopatolóxica Areeiro (Deputación de Pontevedra, Galicia, SPAIN). FLOWER: medium size, 7.5-10 cm in diameter and around 8 cm depth; anemone to open peony flowers, bright medium pink, with 30-50 petals, rounded and cordate margin the outer ones, and irregular margin the inner ones; numerous pink petaloids striped with white; and 20 to 50 stamens mixed with petaloids, with colour cream filaments. LEAF: 8.5-12 cm length x 4-5.5 cm width, medium to dark bright green, elliptical to ovate, serrate margin, pointed apex and acute to obtuse base. PLANT: compact shrub with straight habit and medium growing. Early and very long blooming period, it begins in October and continue until the end of March. Flower falls complete. Other data: it was named in honor of a musician woman who was borne in Vigo (Galicia, Spain) in 1902; she tried to include the music in all the stages of the education. She studied in Madrid and was in contact with writers and poets of the Generación del 27, a cultural movement developing during the beginning of 20th Century in Spain.
