Tsunbo-daiku Believed Extinct

Chinka Zufu, (before 1700), Watanabe, 1969, pl.414: Medium size, dark crimson, single with 6 irregular petals and a round centre of short stamens, some transfigured to flagged petaloids. Originated in Japan. See; Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1962, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.3, p.142. (Believed extinct.)
