Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka, p.80, colour photo and description: Medium size, very pale pink, campanulate single with 7 rounded, overlapping petals with the apices a little reflexed and irregular. Stamens in a short cylinder, filaments white, joined for the lower third, anthers yellow. Leaves glossy mid-green, elliptic, apex tapering acuminate, margins serrate, branches pendent. Blooms early to mid-season. Originated in Ōsaka, Japan.
