Records of Camellia Ancient Trees in Chuxiong, p.68 with colour photos. Maternal plant is located at the lower level of Donglin Temple, Zixi Mountain, Chuxiong, China. Flowers loose peony form, pink, 14-16 cm diameter with about 22 petals. Outer petals flat, inner folded erect. Leaves lanceolate to elliptic, apices caudate, bases cuneate. Flowers early to midseason.
