Leaves submembranous, oblong-lanceolate, 8-12 cm long, 2.5-3. 5 cm wide, apices caudate, bases cuneate, shiny above, somewhat pubescent below, lateral veins 7-8 pairs, margins serrulate; petioles 4-6 mm long, pubescent. Flowers white; pedicels 6-9 mm long, pubescent; bracts 5-6, minute; sepals 5, ovoid, 2.5-3 mm long, puberulent, apices obtuse, basally connate; petals 5-6, obovoid, 1.3 cm long, puberulent; stamens slightly exceeding petals in length, basal half connate into a short tube, free filaments pilose, anthers apically acute; ovaries pubescent; styles 1.2 cm long, pubescent, shallowly 3-cleft. Capsules globose, 2 cm in diameter, 1-locular, pubescent, seeds 1-2.

Kunming) 86668；麻栗坡，冯国楣12995，13488。【形态特征】小乔木，嫩枝纤细有毛。叶近膜质，长圆状披针形，长8-12厘米，宽2.5-3.5厘米，先端长尾状，基部楔形，上面不发亮，下面多少有毛，侧脉7-8对，边缘有细齿，叶柄长4-6毫米，有毛，花白色，花柄长6-9毫米，有毛，苞片5-6，细小；萼片5；卵圆形，长2.5-3毫米，有短毛，先端钝，基部连生，花瓣5-6片，倒卵形，长1.3厘米，有微毛；雄蕊稍突出花瓣外，下半部连成短管，游离花丝有长丝毛，花药先端尖；子房有毛，花柱长1.2厘米，有毛，3浅裂。蒴果球形，直径2厘米，1室，被毛，种子1-2个。
