» Description

Camellia lutescens, Subgenus Camellia, Sect. Paracamellia, Chang Hung-ta and Bruce Bartholomew (1984). Camellias, p.51: Camellia lutescens Dyer in Hook. f. FL. Brit. India 1: 293. 1874. [Description] Branchlets glabrous. Leaves oblong, 5-9 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, glabrous. Bracts and sepals 8, semi-persistent; petals 6, filaments highly connate; ovaries pubescent; styles3, free, extremely short. Within this section this species has the most connate filaments. The sepals aredeciduous in young fruit which is the common condition seen in this section. [Distribution] Assam in eastern India. [Synonym] Thea lutescens (Dyer) Pierre, Fl. For. Cochinchine 2: sub pl. 119. 1887.

阿森短柱茶Camellia lutescens Dyer in Hook. f. FI. Brit. India, 1 2931874. 张宏达,1981. 《山茶属植物的系统研究》第35页。【标本】,分布于印度东部的阿萨姆。【形态特征】嫩枝无毛,叶长圆形,5-9x2-3厘米,无毛,苞及萼8片,半宿存,花瓣6,花丝高度连合,子房有毛,花柱3,离生,极短。这个种是这个组中花丝较高度连生的代表,萼片在幼果时残存的现象,在本组是常见的。
