Camellia yokdonensis Dung bis & Hakoda. First published in Int. Camellia J. 48: 120 (2016). Type: TN 05-1-20 (Holotypus: VNU), HN 012014 (VNU).
The specimen was first discovered by Ngo Tien Dung in 2005 at Yok Don Mountain, Yok Don National Park (Dak Lak). In 2007, N. Hakoda and S. Kirino published in the International Camellia Journal under the scientific name Camellia yokdonensis Dung b & Hakoda. It is one of the few tea species distributed in arid forests. The species has a yellow-orange flower variation.
A small tree, 3-5 m tall; branches of young ones brownish-gray, pubescent; branches of old ones gray-brown, glabrous. Leaves somewhat thick and leathery, oblong, 15-20 cm long, 5.5-6 cm wide, apex acute, base cuneate or obtuse, above intensely green, shiny, below bright green and more or less brownish glandular-dotted, glabrous on both sides, with 7-8 pairs of lateral nerves, impressed above, prominently raised below, serrulate at the margin; petiole 8-10 mm long, pubescent. Flowers subsessile, orange-pink, about 3-4.3 cm in diameter, terminal, with 6-8 bracts, 7-10 petals. Stamens about 170, filaments about 20 mm long, filaments of the outer series connate at the base about 5-7 mm, filaments attached at the base of the petals. Ovaries 3-locular, styles 3, 10-13 mm long, trifid at the apex about 5-6 mm long, yellow, glabrous. Capsule and seeds unknown.

该标本由 Ngo Tien Dung 于 2005 年在横洞国家公园(达克拉克)的横洞山首次发现。2007 年,N. Hakoda 和 S. Kirino 以 Camellia yokdonensis Dung b & Hakoda 的学名在《国际山茶会志》上发表。这是少数分布在干旱森林中的山茶属植物之一。该物种的花朵呈橘黄色。
小乔木,高3-5米;幼枝棕灰色,有短柔毛;老枝灰褐色,无毛。叶有点厚,革质,长圆形,长15-20厘米,宽5.5-6厘米,先端锐尖,基部楔形或钝,上面浓绿色,有光泽,下面翠绿色,或多或少有褐色腺点,两面无毛,有7-8对侧叶脉,上面凹陷,下面明显突起,边缘有细锯齿;叶柄长8-10毫米,被短柔毛。花近无柄,橙粉色,直径约 3-4.3 厘米,顶生,有 6-8 个苞片,7-10 片花瓣。雄蕊约 170 枚,花丝长约 20 毫米,外轮花丝在基部合生约 5-7 毫米,花丝附着在花瓣基部。子房3室,花柱3,长10-13毫米,先端三裂,长约5-6毫米,黄色,无毛。蒴果和种子未知。
