Stamens cylindrical, filaments reddish, joined for the lower third with yellow anthers. Blooms mid-season. Leaves mid-green, narrow-elliptic, apices long-acuminate, margins shallowly crenate. Selected from wild japonicas, named and released by Nobuo Sasai in 1980. From Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
