Bernice Owens Deal    (C. japonica)   ACS Registration #3123. Registered in 2019. This 11-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Berenice Boddy' first bloomed in 2015.It was originated, registered and propagated by Edward and Gina Fredrickson ofWilmington, North Carolina.  BLOOM: The small sized 7.0 cm x 4.4 cm semi-doubleform flower is pastel pink. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. Thisprofuse bloomer has consistent form and is long lasting. PLANT: The plant habit is upright, open and loose.The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping andexhibition uses. LEAF: The dark green leavesaverage 10.2 cm x 2.9 cm with low serration. BLOOMSEASON: Early to late.
