[Variety source] Hubei Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Fruit Tree and Tea Leaf Research Institute of Hubei Province, from the 'Fuding Dabaicha' natural hybrid progeny of single-plant selection. [Characteristic features] shrub type, mesophytic species, medium growth potential, tree posture upright, leaflet class, leaf length 7.0 cm, width 3.0 cm, leaf blade oval, leaf blade bearing state upward. In Wuhan area spring tea bud one leaf period in late March, the new buds and leaves light green, velvet medium, compact buds and leaves, germination neat and density, holding tenderness strong, a bud of three leaves 4.0 cm long, 100 buds weighing 43.0 grams. The biochemical sample of one bud and two leaves of spring tea contains 13.1% of tea polyphenols, 3.5% of amino acids, 2.6% of caffeine, 44.6% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea. Baking green tea system, appearance of tender green and moist show hair, soup color tender green and bright, aroma tender fragrance is still persistent, taste fresh and mellow, leaf bottom tender green and bright. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 158 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' 11% increase in yield; the second growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 211 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' 14% increase in yield. It is resistant to tea leafhopper, tea anthracnose, cold and drought resistance. [Suitable for planting area and cultivation technology points] Suitable for planting in Hubei tea area.
