Ellen's Ivory

International Camellia Journal 37 (2005), page 128 with colour photograph.  Reg. No. 51.  Seedling of 'J. C. Williams' x 'E. T. R. Carlyon'.  Originated in Sidmouth, UK, by Mr. B. B. Jones.  First flowered 2005 at circa 5 years, an upright and compact shrub of medium growth rate.  Blooms mid season.  White cup-shaped single up to 6 cm x 6 cm.  Golden stamens.  Spent blooms fall whole.  Significant cluster blooming, forming a "head" of blooms.
