Oil-tea Camellia Cultivars in China, p.222. Bred by Jiangxi Academy of Forestry in 1999. Crown rotund. Leaves elliptic, apex acuminate, margin serrate or crenate, 4.0-6.3 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide, glabrous. Flowering usually in late October to late December, white, diameter 5.0-7.2 cm, petals 6-7, obcordate. Fruit mature in late October, spherical or ovate, reddish green or green, diameter 25-30 mm, 48-80 among of fruit weighted 500g, loci 1-3. Average 52.1% seed weight in each fresh fruit. The average rate of oil reached 45.1% from dry kernel, 34%-40% from dry seeds, and 8.1% from fresh fruit. The average oil yield 952.5 kg/hm2.
