This 31-year-old C. reticulata seedling of ‘Valley Knudsen’ first bloomed in 1989. It was originated by Paul Gilley of Grand Ridge, Florida, and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Bloom: The large sized 12cm x 7cm semi-double form flower is pink. It has golden anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer has consistent form, falls in one piece and the petal texture is heavy. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is aver-age. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves have medium serration and average 11.1cm x 4.7cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
