» English Description

New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, vol.IX, No.6, 1976, Reg. No.123: A seedling of C.reticulata ‘Crimson Robe’ (Dataohong) and male parent said to be ‘Lion Head’ (Shizetou). It was raised by A.H. Burwell, Inglewood, New Zealand and first flowered 1973. The growth habit is typical and it flowers mid-season; the foliage is medium green, keeled, 11 cm x 5 cm. The flowers are semi-double to open peony form with 16-18 large petals with waved edged and some rabbit ears and measure 18 cm across x 8 cm deep. Colour is RHS.CC. Red Group 53C.

朱國棟、蔡燦玉,2011. 《台灣茶花族譜》,p.110.  烽火台(C. reticulata)云南茶。1976,新西兰 Inglewood,A.H. Burwell 培育选出。Cirmson Robe (大桃红)x Lion Head (狮子头)。初花1973年。半重瓣-松牡丹、红色、 巨大(15-18cm)、花瓣16-18枚、瓣缘波浪、花期1-2月、树性直立、长势中等。
