[Variety Origin] Selected by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Tea Scientific Research Institute from a single plant of Guangxi 'Xiurencha'. [Characteristics] Shrub type, especially early species, strong growth potential, open posture, leaflets, leaf length 7.5 cm, width 3.6 cm, leaf blade medium oval, leaf blade is upward bearing. In Guilin area spring tea bud one leaf period in late February or early March, the new buds and leaves yellowish green, velvet medium, buds more fat, a bud of three leaves 5.6 cm long, 100 bud weight 35.4 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 18.2%, amino acids 4.1%, caffeine 2.4%, water leachate 47.8%. Suitable for green tea and Liu Bao tea. Green tea, tight shape, hair, color green and fresh, soup color green, clear and bright, aroma high fresh flower flavor, taste fresh and sweet; six fort tea, aroma of Chenxiang, taste pure and sweet. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 329 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' yield 11%; the second growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves 354 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' yield 13%. It is resistant to tea leafhopper, tea anthracnose, cold and drought resistance. 桂茗2号 (Camellia sinensis ‘Guiming 2’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第510-511页：【申请者】广西壮族自治区茶叶科学研究所。【育种者】韦柳花；苏敏；罗小梅；梁月超；吴雨婷；胡启明；林国轩；覃榆茏；庞月兰。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2023)450016。【品种来源】广西壮族自治区茶叶科学研究所从广西‘修仁茶’中单株选育而成。【特征特性】灌木型，特早生种，生长势强，树姿开张，小叶类，叶片长度7.5厘米、宽度3.6厘米，叶片中等椭圆形，叶片呈向上着生。在桂林地区春茶一芽一叶期在2月下旬或3月上旬，新梢芽叶黄绿色，茸毛中等，芽头较肥壮，一芽三叶长5.6厘米、百芽重35.4克。春茶一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚18.2%,氨基酸4.1%，咖啡碱2.4%，水浸出物47.8%。适制绿茶和六堡茶。制绿茶，外形紧结、有毫、色泽翠绿鲜活，汤色嫩绿、清澈明亮，香气高鲜有花香，滋味鲜爽甘醇；制六堡茶，香气陈香，滋味纯正回甘。第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶329千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产11%；第二生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶354千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产13%。中抗茶小绿叶蝉，抗茶炭疽病，抗寒性和抗旱性强。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜在广西茶区冬季或春季雨水充足的时间种植。该品种发芽期早，宜与中、晚生品种搭配种植。
