Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka, p.25, colour photo and description: Small size, white, campanulate single of 5 pure white, rounded, emarginate, slightly reflexed petals and a central stamen cylinder with white filaments, joined for the lower third, and yellow anthers. Blooms mid-season to late. Leaves deep green, nar­rowly lanceolate, with long, tapering apices and obscure serration. Originated in Gotō Isle, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Tomokazu Fujita around 1983.
