Isla Warriner (C. japonica). pronounced "Eye-la". Registered in 2022. ACS Registration #3306. It was originated and registered by Tom Warriner from Birmingham, Alabama, USA. A 14 year old chance seedling of unknown parents. It was first bloomed in 2015. Flower loose peony to semidouble form, medium to large size, 9.5-11.4 cm in diameter, 3.8-4.4 cm in depth, bright red with occasional white variegation with yellow anthers and pale pink filaments. Leaf medium green, 8.3-10.2 cm long, and 3.8 cm wide. Plant upright, medium density growth, average growth rate. Bloom mid-season to late.
