Jiujiu Yanyang

Jiujiu Yanyang (C. azalea × C.japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'). HA-01-14., a cross seedling (DK-N〇.20) of C. azalea × C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'. Flowers bright red, occasionally with white stripes,slightly fragrant, anemone to peony form, large to very large size, 10.5-14.5cmacross, the largest across can reach to 17cm, 5.5cm deep with 13-15 exteriorlarge petals arranged in 2 rows, exterior large petals rolled outward, centralsmall petaloids crowded, wavy or twisted, stamens scattered. Leaves dark green,leathery, broad elliptic, midrib raised, margins shallowly serrate at the upperpart. Plant upright, compact and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from summer,fully blooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. Thecultivar name means “The Bright Sun of Sept.Ninth”.
