American Camellia Yearbook, 1966, p.92, Reg. No.885: A 9 year old chance seedling of Joshua E. Youtz, originated by Louis W. Strohmeyer, San Gabriel, California, USA. Plant growth is dense and medium in rate with dark green leaves, 7.5 cm long x 5.5 cm wide. The pure white flowers are peony form with yellow anthers and measue 10 cm across x 5.5 cm deep. The petals are high in the centre, folded. Early to mid-season flowering.
