Lauren Burton      (C. japonica)   Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3220. This 14 year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. 【Bloom】 The medium sized 7.9cm x 3.8cm rose form double to formal double form flower is light pink with deep pink stripes shading to deeper pink with stripes with yellow anthers and white filaments. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. 【Plant】 The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. 【Leaf】 The medium green leaves average 8.3cm x 4.1cm with low serration. 【Bloom season】 Early to midseason.
