Luciano Pavarotti Foundation

Luciano Pavarotti Foundation (C. japonica). European Reg. No 176.  First published in International Camellia Journal, 2022, No. 54, p.40.  Originated by Fañch Le Moal, Plouisy, France, propagated by Roué nurseries Plouigneau. Seedling of unkown parentage in 1997, first flowering in 2002. Plant: bushy, slow growing, late flowering, spent flowers fall. Flower: medium size 9.5 cm in diameter and 5 cm in depth.  peony loose, strongred (RHS2007 46A) with twenty petals and eighteen petaloids mixed with yellow stamens of the same colour. Leaf: medium 9 x 4,5 cm, dark green and flat. Story: in tribute to the Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

帕瓦罗蒂基金会（C. japonica ‘Luciano Pavarotti Foundation’），欧洲登录号176。首次发表于《国际山茶会志》2022年第54期第40页。法国普卢瓦西的法尼奇·勒莫阿尔培育，由卢瓦尼奥普的鲁埃苗圃繁殖。1997年获得实生苗，2002年首次开花。植株：浓密，生长缓慢，开花晚，花凋萎时整朵脱落。花：中等大小，花径9.5厘米，花高5厘米；松散牡丹型，深红色（RHS2007 46A），有20片花瓣，与同色的黄色雄蕊混杂的18片花蕊瓣。叶：中等大小，长9厘米，宽4.5厘米；深绿色和叶身平。名称由来：向意大利男高音卢西亚诺·帕瓦罗蒂致敬。
