ACS., 1985, The Camellia Journal, vol.40, No.2, Reg. No.1968: A very large orchid pink, semi-double to peony form C.reticulata hybrid (‘Cornelian’ [Damanao] x Jean Pursel). Blooms mid-season. Originated by Frank Pursel, Oakland, California, USA. The 7 year old seedling first bloomed 1980. Average flower size is 17.5 cm across x 10 cm deep. Plant growth is upright and rapid.
