Manyi

The cultivar originated in Tengchong of Yunnan, China. Flowers red,  loose peony form to peony form, large to very large, 12-15 in diameter; Petals 25-30 in 4-5 whorls, broad elliptic, outer petals slightly flat, inner petals wavy and reclinate to form a spherical center; Stamens numerous, divided into several fascicles in the folded petals. Pitils mostly rudimentary,a few fertile. Flower very floriferous. Leavesbroad-elliptic, 8-11 cm long, 4.5-5.5 cm wide, apices acuminate or caudate, bases round or broad-cuneate, surface slightly incurved. The flowering season is from early January to late february. The cultivar is similar to 'Dali Cha' but differs from smaller flower and leaf, the surface of leaf slightly incurved.

原产地：中国云南省腾冲县。

性状描述：花红色，松散牡丹型至牡丹型，大到巨型花，花径12~15cm，花瓣25~30枚，宽圆形，4~5轮排列，外轮花瓣略平伸，内轮花瓣波浪状曲折卷旋，形成球状花心，雄蕊多，分数束混生于曲旋的花瓣中，雌蕊多数退化，偶能结实，花量稠密。叶片绿色，宽椭圆形，长8~11cm，宽4.5~5.5cm，先端钝尖或尾尖，基部钝圆或宽楔形，叶面微向内曲；植株开展，生长中等。花期：1月上旬至2月下旬。

识别点：本品种花相似“大理茶”，主要区别是花较“大理茶”小，且花型没有“大理茶”饱满，叶片较“大理茶”窄，叶面微向内曲。
