Matsuga-e (Itō)

Itō, Ko’emon, 1879, Chinkashū: Medium white, semi-double with 12-13 fluted and crinkled petals in 2-3 rows. Small, irregular stamen cluster. Leaves narrow-elliptic, long acuminate, finely serrulate. A sport of Oimatsu or Matsu-no-yuki.
