American Camellia Yearbook, 1960, p.203, Reg. No.497, invalidly as ‘Minuet’: A 3 year old seedling that first bloomed 1959. Originated by Majorie Washburn, Port Arthur, Texas, USA., from seed of Shishigashira. Growth habit is average with mid-green leaves, 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm. The light pink, semi-double to peony form flowers are 6 cm across x 3.8 cm deep with 26-32 petals, up to 28 petaloids and yellow stamens. Flowers early.
