Chinka Zufu, (before 1700) Watanabe, 1969: White, formal dou­ble, stamens in divided clusters. See: Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1963, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.4, pp.102, 106. Originated in Japan. Note: The meaning of “Mokkō” is obscure, but is thought to be an emblem design like a double flower.(Believed extinct.)
