Camellia Forest Nursery Catalogue, 1996, p.6, (CF.9): A well shaped shrub with the aspect of C.sasanqua and large, 12-15 cm diameter pink flowers produced in abundance. Blooms early to mid-season (Oct.-Nov. in NC, USA). Originated by Dr Clifford R. Parks, Chapel Hill, NC, USA as a seedling of C.sasanqua x (C.sasanqua x C.reticulata ).
