Fendig, 1953, American Camellia Catalogue: Variegated pink. Semi-double. Mid-season. SCCS, 1956, The Camellia. Its Culture and Nomenclature, p.70: (Plant Patent No. 1303, 1954). Light orchid pink, veined darker orchid pink, margined white with minute, pin­point white streaks running towards the centre. Very large, irregular, semi-double, rose form to formal double.
