Camellia Grove Nursery Catalogue, 1944, p.7: Semi-double, bright salmon pink with 9-12 outer petals and a centre cluster of golden stamens with 2-3 smaller petals intermingled. An unnamed seedling, raised by Alexander Hunter. Somersby, N.S.W., and transferred by his daughter, Mrs Swan, to her garden in Gordon, N.S.W., Australia. See colour pl.VIII, Camellia Quest, 1947.
