Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.109, colour photo, p.236, description: Medium sized, red, semi-double to loose, informal double with 2-3 rows of large, outer petals and a centre fascicle of golden stamens, divided by small, centre petals. Leaves, lanceolate, mid-green, long-acuminate, sharply serrate. Originated in Minami-kan­bara-gun, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Collected, named and released by Yaichi Kawamura in 1960.
