Originated
in the Xiushui county, Jiangxi province and is recognized as the main variety
for preparing the 4NinghGng, (Gongfu black tea). It is mainly distributed in the
Xiushui, Tonggu and Wuning counties of Jiangxi province. Now it was also introduced
and cultivated in the Hunan, Hubei. Jiangsu, Fujian and Henan provinces.
Plant
medium size, semi-opened type, with dense branching. Leaves inclined up-wards.
Length 7.0~8.6
cm, width 2.6~4.6 cm. With blunter tip. Surface of
leaf protruding, glossy. Thicker in texture. 8%11 pairs of vein. Waved margin
with rough and shallow serrations. The sprouting period in the spring season
appears in the middle of March. The peak period of shoots with one bud and
three leaves stage appears in the middle to the third ten days of April. With
rather dense and vigorous sprouting ability. Shoots rather stout and light
green in color, with profuse hairs and rather
potent tenderness-keeping ability. The weight
of 100 one bud and three leaves shoots
averaged 34.8 g. The peak period of flowering period
appears in the middle to the third ten days of October. With low bearing
percentage and medium degree of resis- tance to unfavorable conditions. With
wider adaptability.
High-yielding.
The yield of made tea per mu in a large area averaged 100~150
kg. \According to the analysis
conducted by the Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural
Sciences, the contents of caffeine in the one bud and two leaves shoot averaged
4.63%, amino acids 3.02%, tea polyphenols 26.58, total catechins 176.25 mg/g.
Suitable to manufacture the green tea and black tea. The Ninghong Kongfu black
tea prepared with the GSCT20 variety as the raw material is characterized by
its tightly rolled leaf with obvious hairs, fragrant aroma and full taste. The
green tea manufactured with this variety as the raw material is superb on the
taste and aroma.
Suitable to popularize in the tea region in the soufh-of-Yangzte River for the manufacture of green tea and Congo black tea. There is no special requirements on the cultivation of GSCT20 variety.

华茶20号(GSCT2Q) 宁州种 有性繁殖系品种。
灌木型,中叶类,中芽种。 原产江西省修水县。是“宁红”(工夫红茶)的当家品种。主要分布在江西省 修水、铜鼓、武宁等地,现除在本省推广外,还由湖南、湖北、江苏、福建、河 南等省进行引种栽培。 植株中等,树姿半开张,分枝密。叶片呈上斜着生。叶片长7.0~8.6cm, 宽2.6~4.6cm,叶尖钝尖,叶面隆起,有光泽,叶片较厚,叶脉8~11对,叶 缘波状,叶齿较粗浅。春芽萌发期一般在3月中旬,一芽三叶盛期*在4月中、 下旬。发芽较密,育芽力较强,芽叶尚肥壮,色黄绿,茸毛较多,持嫩性较强。 一芽三叶百芽重34.8g,盛花期在10月中、下旬,结实少,抗逆性中等,适应 性较广。
产量髙,大面积亩产干茶100~150kg。
据中国农业科学院茶叶研究所分析,春茶一芽二叶鲜叶含咖啡碱4.63%, 氨基酸3.02%,茶多酚26.58%,儿茶素总量打6.2511%/8。适制红、绿茶。制 成“宁红”工夫茶,条索紧秀显毫,香高味醇,制绿茶,香味均佳。
适宜在江南(绿茶和工夫红茶)茶区推广。
在栽培上无特殊要求。
