» English Description

American Camellia Yearbook, 1980, p.172, Reg. No.1580: A small, white, spotted light red, formal double C.japonica chance seedling. Blooms mid-season. Originated by Louis W. Strohmeyer, San Gabriel, California, USA. The 8 year old seedling first bloomed 1961. Average flower size is 7.5 cm wide, x 2.5 cm deep. Plant grwth is upright, dense and medium with dark green leaves.
